In 2021 Craig embarked on a rather ambitious photographic project.

To photograph Mount Ruapehu each and every morning at first light for an entire calendar year from the top of Waitangi Hill in the Army training area.

He started on January 1st 2021 and finished on January 1st 2022. 366 consecutive climbs of Waitangi, rain, hail, snow and shine. “ I met some great people along the way.
