This photographic collection is a celebration of the New Zealand Army and the fine work our army does for us as a country.

Craig Andrew Madsen has been working closely with the New Zealand Army since 2017, photographing the journey of becoming a soldier in the New Zealand Army. His work has seen numerous exhibitions throughout New Zealand and is displayed widely throughout the camp here in Waiouru, and at the National Army Museum.Craig and his family moved to Waiouru in 2020, buying a house and becoming a permanent resident of this wonderful little community.
Since then, they have opened the Ruapehu Print Shop and Gallery in Waiouru, A fine art photographic print house. The shop has latest in Epson print technology and has become a certified Ilford Printer Partner, stocking one of the largest ranges of fine art Ilford papers in the country.
The shop stocks a wide range of frames and certificate frames to service the community and offers a full custom framing service.
The Gallery displays a wide range of photographs, including both army and local landscape works, we also have a poppy photog collection which has quickly become a local favourite. The entire collection makes for excellent posting / leaving gifts and there are options available to suit every budget.
